Jackson Fromm, Flinders University Graduate
Meet Jackson Fromm, a recent graduate from our inaugural cohort from 2019! Jackson has just graduated with a Bachelor’s in Sport, Health & Physical Activity from Flinders University, marking the beginning of his next chapter.
Jackson obtained admission into Flinders University through the STAT test after completing his Certificate III in Sport and Recreation at SEDA. Jackson then seized the opportunity to specialise in Outdoor Education within his Bachelor’s, which he pursued part-time. Jackson then went on to build on his undergraduate foundation, embarking on a Masters of Secondary Teaching.
Jackson attributes much of his success to his time at SEDA, where he honed invaluable skills. Through Structured Workplace Learning and Community Workday Clinics, he immersed himself in industry environments, learning from seasoned professionals in cricket and rugby league. These experiences equipped him with the ability to work autonomously or collaboratively, crucial skills for his role in leading outdoor education camps and working directly with schools.
Jackson’s journey is a testament to the transformative power of education and hands-on experience. We couldn’t be prouder of his achievements and can’t wait to see where his passion for education and sports takes him next!
