Netball SA (NSA) invited the Glandore Netball students of 2024 to an induction day at Netball SA Stadium to teach the expected values, standards and the code of conduct that the students need to follow. Shelly went through the structured work placement opportunities they provide for the students and the volunteering opportunities as well. The NSA staff such as Shelly, Caleb and Caitlin, gave a tour around the stadium and showed the students where they work, how they plan and run events and the process it takes to make something happen. Josh who runs the majority of the NSA programs for younger kids, took the class through the steps on how to run a clinic to ensure the students have the knowledge and understanding on how to successfully run Community Workdays. He taught us ways to communicate, engage and to adapt to primary school students of all ages. Caleb tested our knowledge with what they taught us with a quick Kahoot before playing a fun netball match between the NSA staff VS SEDA students.
